UPTET 2026 Exam Pattern

• To apply for the online form, you must first visit the official website.
• Afterwards, when you visit the homepage, you will see a notice board on the side; there, you will find the option to apply online for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test—simply click on it.
• Now, a new page will open before you.
• Here, you will see two options. The first is 'New Candidate'; if you are a new applicant, click on it. If you have already registered previously, you need to click on the 'Authenticate Login' option.
• Once you click on "New Candidate Registration," a form opens up before you; here, you must fill in all the information with great accuracy.
• Fill in all the information exactly as it appears in your documents to avoid any discrepancies later on.
• Registration here is a one-time process; subsequently, if you wish to register again in the following year, there is no need to go through the registration process anew, as your information is securely saved.
• The most important thing is that, here, you simply need to fill in all the details required for the one-time registration and click the submit button.
• In this manner, you can apply for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test; all the required documents are listed below.

• Valid ID proof (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / PAN Card)
• High School (10th) certificate (for Date of Birth proof)
• Intermediate (12th) certificate

• Teacher training certificate (D.El.Ed / B.Ed / B.El.Ed etc.)
• Category certificate (for OBC / SC / ST candidates, if applicable)
• PwD certificate (if applicable)

Application Fees

Form Correction Process

• The correction facility is available after application submission
• Candidates can edit their form only within the correction window
• Last date for correction: 01 May 2026
• Login using Registration ID and Password
• Only limited details can be edited (as allowed by the authority)
• After the correction deadline, no changes will be allowed
• Candidates should carefully verify all details before final submission
• Incorrect information may lead to application rejection

• Earlier validity was 5 years, but now it has been extended to lifetime
