Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination.
• The qualification must be from a recognized board/institution.

PET 2025 Requirement (Mandatory)

• Candidates must have appeared in Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025.
• A valid PET 2025 scorecard is mandatory.
• Shortlisting for the Main Exam will be based on normalized PET score.
• Candidates with zero or negative marks in PET will not be eligible.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 40 Years
• Age will be calculated as on 1 July 2026.

Age Relaxation

• Age relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories as per government rules.
• Government employees are eligible for up to 5 years relaxation.

Nationality

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.

Reservation Eligibility

• Reservation benefits are applicable only to domiciles of Uttar Pradesh.
• Candidates from other states will be treated under the General (Unreserved) category.

EWS Criteria

• For EWS category:
  • Family income must be less than ₹8 lakh per annum
  • A valid EWS certificate issued between 01 April 2026 and 20 July 2026 is required

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Minimum 2 years service in Territorial Army
• NCC “B” Certificate
• Certificate in Computer Application
