SSC MTS Result 2026 — Latest Update

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially declared the SSC MTS & Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2025 — Computer Based Examination (CBE) Result on 3rd August 2026 at the official website ssc.gov.in. This result is for shortlisting candidates for the PET/PST (Physical Efficiency Test / Physical Standard Test) stage for the post of Havaldar only. This is NOT the final MTS or Havaldar result — it is a provisional shortlist based on normalized Session-II marks.

Along with the shortlist, SSC has also released category-wise and CCA-wise cut-off marks, along with two additional lists — candidates whose results were withheld due to malpractice, and candidates debarred by Regional Offices.

Important: The SSC MTS (Non-Technical) result has not yet been released separately and is expected to be announced soon. MTS candidates will move directly to Document Verification (no PET/PST required for MTS post).

2. Higher total normalized marks in Session-I
3. Older candidate (by Date of Birth) ranked higher

• Click the link — “Declaration of result of Computer Based Examination to shortlist candidates for PET/PST for the post of Havaldar”
• The result PDF will open in a new tab — download it to your device
• Press Ctrl + F (on mobile, use “Find in Page”) and type your Roll Number to search
• If your roll number appears in List-I, you are shortlisted for PET/PST
• Save the PDF and take a printout for future reference
• No login/registration ID is required to check this result — it is open for all

What’s Next? — Selection Process After This Result

• For Havaldar (Shortlisted Candidates): Must appear for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) — schedule to be announced separately on ssc.gov.in
• PET Requirements (Typical): Race/running test within a specified time limit — separate standards for male and female candidates
• PST Requirements (Typical): Minimum height and chest measurement as prescribed in the official notice, category and gender-wise relaxations applicable
• If PET/PST Not Cleared: Candidate will not be considered for Havaldar post, but MTS candidature (if applicable) remains valid separately
• Document Verification (DV): Conducted after PET/PST for Havaldar; conducted separately for MTS shortlisted candidates once their result is out
• First Round Tentative Allocation: To be declared jointly for MTS and Havaldar posts after PET/PST completion

• Havaldar (CBIC/CBN): Physical duty roles in Customs, GST, and Narcotics departments — includes guard duty, escort duty, patrolling and related enforcement support work; requires clearing PET/PST due to physical nature of duties
• Pay Level: Pay Level-1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix
• Pay Scale: ₹18,000 – ₹56,900 (Basic Pay starting ₹18,000/-)

What if Your Roll Number is Missing?

• Check whether your roll number appears in List-II (Malpractice) or List-III (Debarred) — read the reason mentioned
• If not qualified for Havaldar shortlist, check separately for MTS result once it is released — candidature for MTS remains independent
