How to Download NTA SWAYAM January 2026 Scorecard

• Visit the official SWAYAM examination portal — exams.nta.ac.in/SWAYAM
• Find and click the link for “SWAYAM January 2026 Result”
• Log in using your Application Number and Password / Date of Birth, as required
• Your SWAYAM January 2026 scorecard will appear on screen, showing your marks for the course(s) you appeared in
• Download and save the scorecard as a PDF
• Take a printout for your records — this is your official proof of the score until the formal certificate is issued

Note: NTA does not send scorecards individually by post or email — results are available in online mode only, and candidates are responsible for downloading their own scorecard.

Understanding NTA’s Role — What the Scorecard Does (and Doesn’t) Mean

As per the official result notice: “The responsibility of NTA is limited to inviting online applications, conduct of the test, declaration of Scores and providing the results to Ministry of Education for further action at their end. The final Score Card and Certificates will be issued by the concerned National Co-ordinators.”

• NTA’s role ends at conducting the exam and declaring the raw score
• The final, official Score Card and Certificate for your course is issued separately by the relevant National Co-ordinator — this could be NPTEL, UGC, IGNOU, IIMB, or another body, depending on which platform hosted your course
• Candidates should check their respective course platform (e.g., NPTEL portal for NPTEL-hosted courses) for the final certificate process and timeline

Certificate Eligibility Criteria

• To be eligible for the final course certificate, a candidate must score at least 40 out of 100 — and this requirement applies independently and separately to both components:
• • The Internal Assignment/Assessment score (set by the course instructor/platform)
  • The NTA Proctored Exam score (the CBT/hybrid test you just took)
• Scoring well in one component does not compensate for falling short in the other — both must independently cross the 40-mark threshold
• Certificates are jointly issued by NTA and the respective National Co-ordinator once both criteria are confirmed met

No Rechecking / Re-evaluation Policy

• As per the official Information Bulletin, there is no provision for rechecking, re-evaluation, or re-totaling of the SWAYAM result or score
• No queries regarding score recheck requests will be entertained by NTA
• Exam records for the SWAYAM January 2026 session will be preserved for up to 90 days from the date of result declaration — after which they may not be available for reference

• SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) is a Government of India initiative offering free online courses across UG, PG, and Certificate/Diploma levels
